Project Scope
Abelarti, based in Switzerland, provides renewable energy solutions including solar (photovoltaic) panels, energy storage systems, heat pumps, and insulation services. The company partnered with our agency to develop website content, run digital campaigns, and manage Google Ads with the goal of strengthening its online presence and driving qualified leads.
Challenges
Despite being an expert offering a wide range of energy solutions, Abelarti faced several challenges in translating this expertise into measurable digital performance.
A primary issue was that the variety of services wasn’t reflected in their campaigns and messaging; there was no clear differentiation between solutions like solar power, heat pumps, or insulation. Complex government subsidies and canton-level support programs a key decision factor for customers were not being communicated effectively. Their landing pages, which act as their digital storefronts, lacked strong Calls-to-Action (CTAs), trust signals like certifications, and simplified explanations of technical details. Finally, keyword targeting was too general, causing them to miss out on long-tail and location-specific search opportunities.
With Sample Digital’s touch, Abelarti reached more customers in Switzerland’s renewable energy market.
Strategy
- Crafted headlines with problem + solution + CTA structure.
- Highlighted benefits such as cost savings through subsidies and Swiss quality expertise.
- Integrated trust signals: Swissolar membership, certifications, and case references.
- Simplified subsidy information and placed it near conversion forms.
- Combined-service keywords (solar + storage, solar + insulation).
- Added long tail and geo-specific variations (e.g., “solar panel subsidy Vaud canton”, “high-efficiency heat pump Switzerland”
- Reorganized into service-based ad groups (Solar PV, Storage, Heat Pumps, Insulation).
- Applied geographic targeting for cantons with stronger incentives.
- Seasonal and subsidy-driven campaigns aligned with application periods.
- Emphasized trust themes: “Swiss Quality”, “Local Expertise”, “Subsidy Specialists”.
- Highlighted success stories, references, and customer testimonials.
- Balanced technical strengths with customer pain points (e.g., “The wrong panel choice can increase your long-term costs”).
Results
Through the strategy we implemented, we achieved higher Quality Scores by improving the alignment between our ads and landing pages. By crafting ad copy that focused on customer pain points, we significantly increased the Click-Through Rate (CTR). We then successfully converted this high engagement into stronger conversion rates using optimized Calls-to-Action (CTAs) and added trust signals.
The most tangible outcome of these efforts was an increase in qualified leads, particularly in cantons with active government subsidy programs. Ultimately, these results solidified our brand’s position in the market as a “trusted Swiss renewable energy partner.”
